LETS GO GLOBAL RE-LOCATE TO OFFICES AT THE GREENHOUSE, MEDIACITYUK

Lets Go Global, a pioneering arts and creative technology organisation has moved into The Greenhouse at MediaCityUK.

Established in 2003 and funded by Trafford Council, Lets Go Global evolved from an arts-led, internet TV channel, into a dynamic arts and media organisation offering ideas, training, creative technology workshops, video production, project management, venue hire and consultancy.

The organisation works with communities and artists across Greater Manchester, enabling people and organisations to have an active and creative role, becoming producers, publishers and distributors of their own content and participants in the new digital age.

Karen Shannon from Lets Go Global said: “Moving to The Greenhouse is an exciting opportunity for Lets Go Global as we will be at the heart of the creative media industry. We very much look forward to the future in our new home and working with both old and new friends to connect with and nurture our vision of creativity for all through technology”.

Lets Go Global have recently won an award for their contribution to the Cultural Olympiad, and are currently working on a number of London 2012 projects.

Looping the Loop is the Northwest’s opening event for London 2012, celebrating the start of Games time in the UK on May 19th in the vicinity of Old Trafford and The Quays. The purpose of this event is to ensure local communities feel part of London 2012 and provide a time and a place for everyone in the North West to celebrate a key national moment in the Olympic Year. Looping the Loop is funded by a G4A Arts Council Grant, Trafford & Salford Council and Marketing Manchester
