A new Marco Pierre White restaurant has opened its doors at MediaCityUK.

Called Marco’s New York Italian, the restaurant is located in the Holiday Inn hotel at MediaCityUK and is the latest eaterie to be opened by the Godfather of modern cooking and original ‘enfant terrible’!

Having welcomed its first guests, the 165 cover venue serves Marco’s take on American-Italian food including fresh pastas, steaks, seafood, burgers and handmade pizzas.

Heading the new restaurant is head chef Dean Finch, who not only hopes to make this new restaurant one of the best dining experiences in MediaCityUK but is responsible for delivering the quality and standard of food expected from one of the country’s foremost culinary legends.

Having signed a franchise agreement with Black & White Franchising, the restaurant is managed by Tower Hotel Management and will blend the fast-paced atmosphere of a classic New York Italian with the affordable glamour and sophisticated ambience associated with the UK’s greatest ever chef.

Dean said: “It’s great to be open and to have welcomed our first guests. So far the response has been really positive and is a great way to start off this restaurant.

“Making sure the atmosphere is right sends a clear message to the diner that there is a strong passion for the food, quality of service and overall dining experience.

“There is going to be a big emphasis on the customer service and atmosphere, so the restaurant becomes top-of-mind when people are deciding on where to eat out and where the best dining experience is to be enjoyed.”

“The idea behind this restaurant is to create an environment where diners can have a good time and enjoy traditional Italian favourites at any time of the day and where people can go for some nice food and a nice bottle of wine in a relaxed and affordable setting.

Primi dishes will include Chargrilled asparagus, poached egg, parmesan crust; Antipasto Misto; Crab cakes, tomato, chilli & coriander salsa; Pork ribs with spicy BBQ sauce.

The main courses have a selection of classic pastas, risotto, pizzas, burgers, steaks and ribs. There is also a selection if fish dishes including Yellow Fin Tuna, Organic Salmon, Sea Bass and Scampi Fritta.

No New York Italian is complete without a selection of sumptuous desserts and with Marco’s Tiramisu, New York Cheesecake and Double chocolate truffle cake on the menu, Marco’s is no exception.
