Lowry Outlet Makers Market returns this weekend

Lowry Outlet Makers Market returns this weekend (Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September) with an array of quality artisan foods, drinks and award-winning craftsmen on the open-air Plaza area.

Taking place every month until the end of the year, the markets showcase award-winning local food, drink, and art and craft producers, with live music plus much more.

Lowry Outlet centre manager Kelly Hurst, said: “Last month saw our new Lowry Outlet Makers Market become a huge hit and the stalls were bustling with excitement as people enjoyed tasty treats, live entertainment and gourmet food and drink.

“This weekend has some fantastic producers selling amazing and unique products, many which can’t be found on the high street, from vintage trinkets and gorgeous handmade crafts to tantalizing food and drink producers. We’re delighted to be working in collaboration with The Makers Market, who hold a credible reputation in the area for delivering the very best in artisan produce. ”

During the weekend, shoppers can browse award-winning cheeses and pies, locally brewed ales, doorstop sized brownies, posh tarts, rustic breads, vegan treats, spicy sauces, locally produced jams and chutneys and salt and spice gins. Discover vintage trinkets and handmade crafts, plus Urban Photography from Ben Sedman, potted plants by the talented couple behind Shrubbies and retro and music lead art by Salford artist, The No.71 Legends Room.

There will be a street food area in full swing with fire pits and BBQ’s lit up to deliver everything from stone baked pizzas to pulled pork sandwiches and Mediterranean mezzes.
