Alzheimer’s Society GLOW

GLOW is returning to Manchester, with a sponsored evening walk around Salford Quays on Saturday 14th March.
Join us at the MediaCity Piazza where you can take in the atmosphere, grab your glowsticks and get ready to walk alongside hundreds of others to shine a light on dementia.

Registration Fee: £10 registration fee (under 16’s free)
Timings: Walkers arrive from 6:30pm (walk starts at 7:30pm)
Routes: 4.5km (wheelchair accessible)

GLOW is a Memory Walk after dark, a traditional style, sponsored walk that is for the whole family. Join your fellow glow-getters at MediaCityUK Piazza, where the event will start and finish. Take in the atmosphere, grab your glowsticks and get ready to walk alongside hundreds of others to shine a light on dementia.
See the local area lit up as the 5km walk takes you along the city’s unique watefront, accross some of the city’s iconic bridges and past the famous Imperial War Museum and Lowry theatre. The route is on paths with steps, and so is suitable for wheelchairs with assistance. Please note the route and distance is subject to change.
