King of Sunshine Productions is the brainchild of former BBC entertainment commissioner and executive producer Sohail Shah.
We are a fresh, diverse led company based in Salford’s Media City in the North-West of the UK, making programmes for the world. We are passionate about creating entertaining, engaging, and representative programming that captivates audiences and keeps them coming back for more.
Since its creation in 2019, King of Sunshine has gained multiple commissions for ITV; Channel 4; Channel 5; UKTV and has also consulted on the Comic Relief Pantomime for BBC.
With an award-winning reputation for excellence, we have produced factual entertainment specials, studio panel shows and scripted comedy; featuring talent including Hugh Bonneville, Richard E Grant, Jon Richardson & Lucy Beaumont, Caroline Quentin and Sheridan Smith.
