About us
The Media City Supported Internship is run by The Manchester College, part of the LTE group, and our partner organisation, Pure Innovations.
The Manchester College is the largest Further Education College in the UK, dedicated to shaping an amazing future for its students. The college is focussed on careers and a work-ready Greater Manchester creating greater opportunities for the city region and leading the way in education.
Pure Innovations is a Stockport based charity. It’s mission is to ensure that no one is left behind by supporting people to live healthy, independent and valued lives. They do this by providing essential life skills, removing barriers, championing diversity and building independence and resilience.
We work together to offer students a one-year course made up of short class-based sessions focussed on work related topics. These sessions are followed by closely supervised work placements, usually 16 hours per week for up to 12 weeks. The goal for participants is paid employment.
If anyone is interested in hosting one of our students in your business or organisation, please reach out and we can discuss how we could work together.
