Take on an August evening race at MediaCity with the Run MediaCity on Thursday 27th August 2026. Starting and finishing in the MediaCity Piazza, this event offers a scenic 2.5km loop through one of Manchester’s most distinctive locations.
The course heads across the Millennium Bridge, passes the Imperial War Museum, and moves through the MediaCity surroundings, with the ITV and BBC television studios forming part of the backdrop. It’s a brilliant late-summer race setting with plenty of energy from start to finish.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to MediaCity 5k & 10k.
