About us

STLLD (pronounced stilled) is an independent psychological therapy and wellbeing practice founded and led
by Monique Thomas — integrative psychotherapist, lecturer, author, and researcher with over fifteen years'
experience supporting wellbeing across therapeutic, educational, creative and faith-based settings.

Based at the Tomorrow Building, MediaCity, STLLD offers compassionate, evidence-informed support for
adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and
questions of identity and meaning. Sessions are available in person at MediaCity, online, or by telephone.

At the heart of the work is a belief that psychological safety is the foundation from which healing and
meaningful change become possible. Monique works interactively, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy,
Compassion-Focused Therapy, polyvagal-informed practice and CBT — and has developed the GRACE
Therapeutic Model™, a proprietary framework for compassionate and embodied psychological care.
STLLD also works with organisations through STLLD Consultancy, partnering with businesses, creative
sectors, faith communities and professional associations to build cultures of psychological safety and
sustainable wellbeing. This includes CPD training, reflective practice, keynote speaking, and evidence-based
consultancy.

Monique is the author of Pressure Off (SPCK, 2023) and serves as Chair of the Executive Committee of the
BACP Spirituality Division. She works holistically, attending to the whole person and brings this lens to
everything STLLD offers.

Whether you're seeking personal therapy, professional development, or organisational support — STLLD
creates spaces where people can slow down, make sense of what they're carrying, and move towards lasting
change.
