Tech and design companies relocate to refurbished creative cluster at MediaCityUK
An international tech firm and leading interior design company have relocated to newly refurbished waterfront space The nest, a creative cluster of offices at MediaCityUK in Salford.
Osprey@Thenest underwent a significant refurbishment last year and offers quality self-contained office space with a MediaCityUK location. MediaCityUK – an international destination for technology and innovation – is home to the likes of the BBC and ITV and is set to double in size by 2030.
Tranquil PC, now part of the 2CRSi Group whose headquarters are in France with further locations in California and Dubai, has expanded its operations to include a 1,900 sq ft office at Osprey@Thenest on Broadway.
The world leaders in low energy and Rugged IT, have signed a six-year lease for a unit on the second floor of Osprey, part of the cluster of five office buildings by the Manchester Ship Canal.
UK-based home furnishing design & sourcing company Sleeplogik Group, which has offices in Hong Kong and mainland China, has also secured a 1,400 sq ft suite at the three-storey Osprey building.
These two new lettings build on The nest’s reputation as an affordable creative cluster at MediaCityUK.
Tim Taylor, Leasing Manager at Peel L&P said:
“We’re pleased to be welcoming two new tenants to our newly refurbished Osprey@Thenest which is a fantastic space with competitive rates for businesses looking to set up, expand or relocate.
“Its location is ideal for creative and tech businesses and the huge success of MediaCityUK and its exciting future growth plans will bring many benefits to tenants.”
