A Cultural Christmas For All at MediaCity
Visitors can enjoy a culture-packed programme of activities taking place across MediaCity and Salford Quays this Winter.
Founded by trained actor and drama practitioner, Peter Carroll, Thinking Actors works with experienced actors and emerging talent to find the most effective techniques for the individual and prepare them for auditions and filming.
Flexible co-working space, WorkNation – based in The Greenhouse at MediaCityUK – is a vibrant, creative space for Thinking Actors to refine their clients’ performance skills in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Ideally located in MediaCityUK where the aspiring actors can connect with industry professionals, WorkNation is the perfect place for the workshops of around 10 people.
Peter said: “Launching our workshops at MediaCityUK is an exciting step and WorkNation feels like the perfect place for us to be located. We film our actors using high definition cameras and top of the range equipment to help with performance review and provide showreel footage, so it’s important to have the right acoustics and aesthetics. WorkNation is not only spacious and beautifully furnished, but the integrated kitchen and smaller breakout spaces give us flexibility and variety to do whatever we want with different scenes. It’s great to be here and we are continuing to go from strength to strength.”
WorkNation is available for hire as a co-working and hot-desking space. To inquire about availability and packages, visit: www.worknationmcuk.co.uk. Prices start from as little as £20 per day.
Thinking Actors are running a special Introduction to Acting for Film and Television workshop on Saturday November 12th. Evening classes are also running from November 1st. To learn more about their services, visit: http://www.thinkingactors.co.uk
