
Coronation Street announce public tours
From May 26, the MediaCityUK external LOT will open for public to walk the real Coronation Street cobbles
This newly created role demonstrates the importance placed on delivering excellent customer service at dock10, as it continues to expand its short form and long form service capabilities. Hardman will lead on technology and operational matters and report into Paul Austin, Head of Post Production.
Hardman brings a wealth of experience of assembling and managing teams of creatives and technologists to provide leading edge and innovative solutions for large-scale projects, and will become part of the dock10 senior team.
Commenting on his new role Hardman said; “I could not be more proud of what I have helped The Farm achieve over the past 4 years within BBC North, where we have developed and managed a team of over 60 people – but the opportunity to get back to the forefront of Post Production in a broader role is one that I look forward to immensely. I am delighted to be joining several friends and former colleagues in the talented dock10 team, who are doing some amazing and innovative work at the heart of MediaCityUK.”

Social TV company, never.no, based in The Landing, MediaCityUK, has signed an agreement with ITV, the UK’s largest commercial broadcaster. never.no is providing on-air social engagement software, ‘STORY’ to manage the live integration of social content into ITV’s ‘Daytime’ programming.
MediaCityUK is set to celebrate summer with its first family ‘Summer Weekender’ from Friday, 9 August until Sunday, 11 August, bringing live music, tasty food, fairground rides and a host of children’s activities to the Piazza.
A team of staff from BBC North at MediaCityUK took time out from their day jobs to donate blood in support of their colleague Jonathan Ali, who receives regular blood transfusions to support his treatment for cancer.
