Digital record label expands at The Landing
Digital record label Ostereo has expanded its office space at MediaCityUK to accommodate a team that has increased from two to 23 in two years.
As one of the most exciting and progressive hubs for media, tech and digital businesses in the country, MediaCityUK is set to launch Arrive, its new creative office space to meet increasing demand.
The cutting edge, high spec space will transform three storeys of White from floors four to six and will feature a 50-seater auditorium, communal hub, private meeting rooms, break-out areas with stunning views across MediaCityUK, as well as a quirky outside terrace.
Arrive will provide cool office space for businesses which require as little as 360 sq ft accommodating six desks, up to 1,700 sq ft which can hold up to 20 desks.
With over 10 years’ experience in supporting the organic growth of start-ups and small businesses MediaCityUK has evolved the concept of collaborative working to the next level with the unique shared space, design and amenities which Arrive will offer.
Lynn Haime, Asset Manager at MediaCityUK, explains: “With over 250 SMEs based here, there is a natural progression for growth within the journey at MediaCityUK. Typically, fledgling businesses will take a desk or two in our smaller offices such as The Greenhouse before expanding to more sizeable space within Tomorrow, White or Blue. Arrive bridges the gap between these offerings, so we have spaces for every size of business.
“We’re seeing demand for space within Arrive both from evolving businesses already based here to groups of companies who enhance each other’s offering by working together. There is also interest from businesses wanting to relocate from further afield who can benefit from the flexible contracts and high profile location.”
Since Arrive is based within White it can take advantage of being in the top 10 per cent of properties in the UK for its superfast broadband and telecoms infrastructure.
Lynn added: “White along with Orange, Blue and Tomorrow were the first buildings in the North West to achieve the prestigious Platinum digital connectivity rating from WiredScore.”
Arrive’s first lettings have already been agreed and it’s due to welcome its first occupiers within the next few months.
