MEET THE ARTISTS

CreaTech Artist CoLab Project

The Createch Artist CoLab brought together local creatives and CreaTech specialists to explore new ways of working with digital tools. Over the course of a week, artists experimented with emerging technologies at the University of Salford’s Dev Lab in MediaCity, developing innovative concepts and prototypes that combined traditional practices with creative tech approaches. The project encouraged peer-to-peer learning and collaborative practice across disciplines.

As part of the programme, participants were invited to pitch ideas for new work to present at Day 00. From these proposals, a £5,000 commission was awarded to create a new piece of work that will be acquired as part of the University of Salford Art Collection (Best Before Memory by Isabella So in collaboration with Hattie Kongaunruan).
