Reporters Academy

Mediacity’s resident youth media production company, The Reporters’ Academy, are running a two-day Media Camp on 28th & 29th October, giving 14 to 19-year-olds the chance to get hands-on with film, TV, journalism, presenting, podcasting and content creation.

MAKE MEDIA. MEET PEOPLE. GET INSIDE MEDIACITY.

Over the two days, participants will get to experience the world of media from inside MediaCity’s TV studios, creating content, trying out different roles, learning practical skills and working as part of a creative team.

They’ll have the chance to get behind the camera, try presenting, record interviews and podcasts, explore green screen and learn how content is created and edited. Guided by the experienced team at The Reporters’ Academy.

It’s ideal for young people who are already interested in film, TV, journalism or social media, or simply want to try something new and spend a couple of days immersed in the creative industries at MediaCity.
