Let's Talk Energy!
The energy landscape continues to evolve and with new renewable energy technology and energy updates, it’s difficult to keep up with it all.
MediaCity & Equans
Our friends at Equans are keeping a close eye on these technological advancements to identify those that would be suitable to implement here at MediaCity. The team work continuously to find the best solutions and implement action we may or may not actually see day-to-day that are saving us energy.
MediaCity and Equans have been working together since 2011 to achieve ambitious energy-saving targets and deliver net zero carbon status. Alongside the essential maintenance services provided, the partnership between MediaCity and Equans has helped the estate to achieve significant energy and cost savings, with Equans bringing its technical management and energy expertise to support our sustainability initiatives. Read more about the partnership in the case study below.

During the session, Equans took us through the benefits of energy efficiency both environmentally and commercially, as well as discussing the ISO50001 certification which MediaCity has operated for nearly 10 years. In case you missed it, watch the recording of the session here.
Exploring Energy Survey
As part of our Exploring Energy campaign in partnership with Equans, we are getting the conversation going around reducing our energy consumption and would love to hear from you. We want to learn about what actions, you, our occupiers are taking to improve their energy efficiency, and whether there are additional things we can support you with to help you achieve these goals.
Please complete the short survey to give us your thoughts, and ideas.
