Social 7 becomes a cashless venue
MediaCityUK’s largest bar, lounge and events space, Social 7, has gone cashless, just six months after it launched. The move makes it the largest cashless venue of its kind in the UK.

The I’m A Celebrity… Jungle Challenge will be a 2500 square metre indoor entertainment feature with all your favourite show bits – from the Outback Shack to the Bushtucker Telegraph in the ultimate jungle encounter.
The action-packed family entertainment centre promises to take campmates into the heart of the jungle where you’ll need to navigate a series of obstacles and challenges. Face your fears, test your nerve and agility and venture into the jungle canopy, collecting stars as you go to be crowned King or Queen of the jungle!
Visitors can expect a 90 minute action packed challenge through jungle ziplines, parachute drops and vertical climbing walls; the perfect day out for all the family!

MediaCityUK has welcomed a premium car valeting service with a difference to its multi-storey car park. Based on the second floor of The Garage, Urban Car Spa runs a valeting service with military precision, recruiting ex-forces personnel from the Manchester area to run its waterless car wash.
The Landing, MediaCityUK’s digital and tech enterprise hub, has announced details of its autumn business support programme which is open to any Greater Manchester start-up, scale-up or SME. All of them are either free or are fully funded for qualifying businesses and will cover key issues such as apprenticeships, remote working, business development and raising investment.
