MediaCity’s dock10, the UK’s leading television facility, has completed post-production on its seventh Harlan Coben project – with the recently named global top 10 hit series RUN AWAY, produced by Nicola Shindler’s Quay Street Productions and Harlan Coben’s Final Twist Productions. The series, which premiered on Netflix on 1 January 2026, is the latest production dock10 post at MediaCity has supported from Coben over the last decade and follows MISSING YOU (2025) and global hit FOOL ME ONCE (2024) for Netflix.

Filmed across the north west of England, RUN AWAY benefited from dock10’s hybrid post production workflow, with editors working both on-site in MediaCity, the UK’s centre of thriving creativity and future media, and remotely via dock10’s secure servers. The 12-month project saw the dock10 post team managing a complex schedule to deliver all eight episodes ahead of the Netflix release date.

Jon Nunn, Commercial Manager at dock10 said “Every Harlan Coben series we work on presents unique challenges and creative opportunities. Having our full post production ecosystem based here in MediaCity allows us to bring together editing, grading, sound and VFX teams in one connected environment. That combination of world-class facilities, secure infrastructure and hugely experienced people means we can collaborate closely with producers and creatives and deliver to the very highest international broadcast standards.”

Senior Colourist Jamie Parry led the grading of the series, bringing his extensive experience to bear on both UHD HDR and SDR deliverables. Working closely with the

series’ directors of photography, Jamie spent approximately 35 days using the Baselight system, with a Sony Grade 1 monitor ensuring precise colour accuracy and cinematic quality.

Senior Editor Sam Butler managed the online editing in DaVinci Resolve, dedicating over 40 days to the finishing of the series. The audio finishing, overseen by Patrick Morris and his team, delivered a fully immersive Dolby Atmos mix from dock10’s dedicated theatres, requiring more than 270 days of sound design, tracklay, and audio mixing to meet Netflix’s high standards.

Visual effects were created by MediaCity resident Space VFX, while post-production workflows were coordinated by dock10’s Kellie Sanders and Liz Hird, ensuring seamless communication across the in-house talent, production team, and other companies such as Space VFX.

dock10’s post production team has become a consistent fixture on Harlan Coben series, regularly working alongside Quay Street Productions for their new projects. RUN AWAY continues this legacy, showcasing dock10’s ability to deliver world-class post production services for high-profile scripted content.
