MediaCityUK legal and commercial director Jackie Whalley heads up Peel Media’s People Development team that also includes; Lee Howarth, Lesley Ward, Derek Elliott, Rachel Williams, Rachel Sharples, Lynn Haime and Lisa Simpson. Jackie said: “The People Development team have worked incredibly hard to achieve the gold standard. It’s a particularly fantastic achievement since we have jumped from the basic accreditation straight to gold. We’re now aiming for the Champion status.”

MediaCityUK based talent agency, Scream Management, is celebrating after a number of clients from the Young Performers division enjoyed success at the Soap awards held at the Hackney Empire and watched by millions of avid soap fans on ITV.
The Landing, MediCityUK’s tech and digital enterprise hub, will be hosting two major hackathons this month, aimed at students, young people and anyone wanting to learn more about modern computer science.
Over 40 volunteers as well as local schoolchildren dug deep at the green space in Clifton, Salford, in support of charity City of Trees during National Tree Week.
