Stephen Wild, Managing Director of MediaCityUK said: “As the first community in the world to be recognised as sustainable by BREEAM, we are passionate about supporting BBC North’s Sustainability Season and reinforce the important messages they will be communicating. It’s a great way of boosting awareness among the community and for the future we’re looking at an exciting joint initiative with City of Trees, the BBC and Carbon Creative to create a fundraising scheme to encourage donations towards the planting of trees in the Salford area.”
