Travis Perkins chooses Upp B2B for strategic brand review
MediaCityUK-based brand creation and activation agency Upp B2B has been commissioned by Travis Perkins (part of Travis Perkins plc) to partner with them on a strategic review of the customer proposition.
The work is a key part of Travis Perkins’ five-year business strategy, which is focused on leveraging their builders’ merchant reputation to support the future and changing needs of the building and home improvement markets.
Travis Perkins has been supplying the building and construction trades for more than 200 years and is a recognised market leader. As part of the project, Upp B2B will be developing the customer proposition for the company, positioning why this timber & builders merchant is the trade’s first choice.
Lucy Miller, head of marketing, Travis Perkins plc said, “Putting our customers at the heart of our strategic thinking is central to every decision we make as a business. Upp B2B was selected to guide us through this process as the agency has such strong b2b expertise and a proven brand development model. The agency has already led a number of senior team workshops, which have been invaluable in helping us to understand and articulate what makes us different. We’re really looking forward to finalising the proposition work and bringing it to life.”
Ann Rimmer, director of brand, Upp B2B commented, “The Travis Perkins leadership team has been great to work with on this project, as they are so customer-centric in their thinking. The brand has such an established heritage and we are proud that they have trusted us to help develop the next phase of its success.”
