BBC Digital Cities returns to Manchester this Autumn
BBC Digital Cities returns to Manchester for a week of digital events aimed at the city’s creative digital industries. Running…
We wanted to share an update with you following Booth’s recent announcement, about the upcoming closure of their MediaCityUK store – Statement on Media City UK | Booths Supermarket.
Booths has been a valued part of the MediaCityUK community since we welcomed our first residents and tenants in 2010 and we’re very sad to be saying farewell to the team when the store ceases trading.
However, we are exploring alternative options and in the meantime, the independently run MediaCityUK General Store, situated on the ground floor of The Lightbox (adjacent to Costa Coffee), is set to open mid-February and will be selling a wide range of fresh produce, deli goods as well as convenience items. You can find out more about the General Store here.
We’re also very close to announcing a new, family run, take-out dining concept which will join other independents including plant based eatery Vertigo and Grindsmith as well as Pret a Manger and Costa Coffee who all continue to provide a take-out service during the current restrictions.
Please keep an eye on our social media feeds for more updates and images on how our new arrivals are progressing.
Finally, here’s a quick at-a-glance guide to what convenience stores and take-outs are currently available to those who live and work within MediaCityUK.
