Media Agency Group appointed by PortAventura World ahead of Ferrari Land launch

MediaCityUK tenant, Media Agency Group has been appointed as the media agency of PortAventura World Parks & Resort for the launch of Ferrari Land - Europe’s first ever Ferrari-theme park.

After winning a competitive pitch, MAG has been selected to take responsibility for all UK and Ireland-based advertising spend for the brand new Spanish theme park, which is due to open on April the 7th.

Going forward, MAG will coordinate and execute several strategic multi-format advertising campaigns to promote Ferrari Land PortAventura in the coming months.

The activity was launched with a new TV ad, currently airing across ITV, Sky and RTE, and is due to be followed by further advertising spanning all media formats as part of a heavyweight multi-format campaign.

Ferrari Land is the first theme park of its kind in Europe, and is due to open at PortAventura World Parks & Resort in Costa Dorada in April. This resort is located just one hour away from Barcelona and is one of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations. As well as Ferrari Land, PortAventura World is home to PortAventura Park, one Water park, five themed hotels, one convention centre and 3 golf courses.

Ferrari Land will offer visitors the opportunity to live the authentic Ferrari experience in a unique theme park that offers unrivalled excitement for the whole family, adrenaline and fun. It is home to Europe’s tallest and fastest roller coaster standing at 112m tall and reaching speeds of 110mph.
