First “Nikkei” kitchen outside of London opens at MediaCityUK
Shoku, a Japanese-Peruvian inspired restaurant and sushi bar has now opened in MediaCityUK and is the first Nikkei kitchen and sushi bar of its kind outside London.
It means the company will supply uplink services from their UK teleports, including those in Salford.
Babcock is one of the country’s biggest engineering support services firms, with a revenue of more than £4.5bn. It distributes television channels to platforms around the world.

“We already have great experience of delivering critical distribution services for UK Sport and to bookmakers across the UK, Ireland and beyond, so working with Babcock to deliver uplinking capability was the next logical service to offer.
