“The intersection of technology and other fields: that’s how we’re going to fix the world.”
Simon Corbett, Managing Director of Jargon PR has recently opened the award winning PR agency’s third UK office in MediaCity and shares his experience of the creative digital and tech destination.
For over 12 years Simon has been running Jargon PR, a specialist B2B agency with a wealth of high tech clients including Facebook, from its first two offices in London and Reading. After acquiring a small Cheshire based B2B agency in July 2021, Jargon’s journey to the North West began, finally making MediaCity’s Arrive Blue its northern home earlier this year.
“Since opening our third office here in MediaCity, we’ve all been really excited by the opportunity that it brings. We have a full-time team of 30 across all of our offices, so we’re good mid-sized agency with plenty of resource to support our clients. As well as growing our client base organically through the acquisition of the Alderley Edge agency we’ve been delighted to secure more local clients including the recent promotion of Manchester Tech Week.
“We’re currently on a recruitment drive and recently attended a local career’s fair. We were blown away by the talent in and around Salford and Manchester. There’s a wealth of super smart people out there and we’re really excited to tap into that creative mindset and skill.”
“For us, it was a no brainer to commit to MediaCity. Its high-profile occupiers such as the BBC and ITV combined with its friendly vibe and sense of community as well as its restaurant and bar scene means our clients and colleagues from the South love to convene here.”
Jargon PR’s strong social culture sits well with what MediaCity has to offer. Simon adds:
We look forward to sharing more of Jargon PR’s successes with you soon.

“I want to get out and meet as many people as I can across MediaCity as knowing your local community is very important to the Co-op. We want to get involved with Mediacity initiatives, events and support whenever we can.”
“There’s this sense that collectively we’re trying to make great TV.”
