Trio of office lets for ARRIVE MediaCity

MediaCity’s flexible workspace ARRIVE has secured a flurry of lettings covering over 12,000sq ft across its White and Blue Towers in the heart of Salford’s, creative, tech and digital hub.

The North of England’s largest creative and marketing recruitment agency, The Orchard Agency, has relocated due to expansion from Plaza One in Salford Quays to a 2,951 sq ft suite on floor 14 of the recently refurbished ARRIVE Blue.

International tech brand Huawei has expanded within MediaCity and committed for a further three years to a 4,872 sq ft space from where its UK Huawei Technologies function operates, while HOIST Finance has relocated from Quays Reach in Salford Quays into a 4,216 sq ft space on floor six – collectively taking over 9,000 sq ft in ARRIVE White. The three lettings total in excess of £600,000 p.a. of stabilised rental income.

The recent lettings follow the completion of a major £4.6m refurbishment of Blue and Tomorrow towers where the ARRIVE workspace has been expanded from White tower since its launch in 2020.

ARRIVE, which provides flexible workspace as well as communal hubs and events to foster collaboration from start-ups to small to medium sized businesses (SMEs), now totals 83,211sqft  across MediaCity and continues to offer flexible workspace ranging from 5,116 sq ft/ 150 desks all the way down to 77 sq ft/1 desk.

Rebekah Lloyd Beere, ARRIVE Operations Manager said: “We’re currently experiencing a really healthy interest in our flexible ARRIVE workspace offer, representing an attractive price point to Manchester City Centre, and what’s been encouraging is that despite an uncertain economy the market remains buoyant and all of these businesses are thriving and expanding. We’re looking forward to supporting their growth journey here at MediaCity where they can benefit from our flourishing eco system of innovation and talent.”

MediaCity is a joint venture between Peel L&P and Landsec.
